Balloon Launch Info:
The balloon launch has been a fun part of the event in the last couple years. We tag all ballons with a unique number and raffle the
ballons off at one dollar a piece. After 2 weeks we award prizes to all balloons that are found, to both the purchaser of the ballon ticket as well as the person that calls it in.
2007's launch had balloons travel a variety of distances and ending up in quite diverse locations. One was even found not far from Toronto, Ontario.
2008's launch saw over 100 balloons launched with all winners coming from around Mount Pleasant, MI.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded two weeks after the launch date to the balloons that travel the farthest.
Results:
We will be marking the landing spots of the balloons as we recieve information on a google map located here.
Note: Balloons and strings are biodegradible.
